Opis projektu
The Tele and Radio Research Institute conducts research and development work, the results of which are applied, among other things, in the developed measuring and control apparatus and protection systems for MV and LV power networks, used in the mining, metallurgical and construction industries: cable lines, synchronous generators, transformers, motors, capacitor banks. They can also operate in the following fields: feeder, drain, bus couplers and measurement in extreme conditions, i.e. from -50°C to +80°C.
Mining World Central Asia 2014 in Almaty, which is the subject of this project, will present:
- New generation of power controllers with power quality analyzer for extreme conditions.
- Apparatus for testing the reactivity of blast furnace coke by the NSC method,
- Pilot device for making coke from coal of coal mixtures (coke battery pilot),
- Apparatus for testing the reducibility of iron ores,
- Equipment for testing the physical and chemical properties of solid fuels (determining the content of total sulfur, ash, volatile parts, Si index, etc.).
The devices will be presented on advertising boards, flyers and with audio-video projections during the fair.
Participation in the program to promote the equipment presented above is in line with the main goal of the Tele and Radio Institute’s export strategy, which is to increase exports by expanding markets.
This goal is to be served by activities such as:
- Participation in international and domestic trade fairs and conferences,
- Establishing contacts with electricity producers and distributors, coal mines, coking plants and metallurgical plants,
- Improvement and development of the offered apparatus,
- Training and development of scientific and technical personnel.
Participation in the general promotion program will be used to promote goods at the “Mining World Central Asia” fair in Kazakhstan. The following activities will be undertaken.
An exhibition area of 9m2 will be rented. On which a stand will be built in a standard system. The stand will promote the Institute’s products with advertising brochures, films projected from a multimedia projector. We will direct two employees fluent in Russian and English to operate the stand, who will actively encourage visitors to the stand. In addition, a catalog entry has also been ordered as a form of advertising and promotion. We will provide the employees manning the stand with airfare and accommodation during the fair and its assembly and dismantling. The booth will be posterized with themes related to the project and the required logos promoting the European project.
Justification of the project
For more than 15 years, controllers developed by ITR have been installed in modern container stations manufactured by ABB, which are exported to Russia. These stations are deployed in Siberia, in oil fields, coal and diamond mines. Marketing research carried out by ABB and direct contacts with users of our equipment indicate the need to modernize several thousand 20-pole containerized MV distribution stations manufactured by ZWAR in 1970-1990 (exported to former Comecon countries).
The presented new generation of field controllers with a power quality analyzer for operation in extreme conditions complements the volume, offered by ITR, of existing multifunctional devices for measurement, control, automation and protection for power grids, while strengthening the competitive position of the Polish product against large international companies.
The apparatus selected for presentation has a high potential for innovation while meeting ISO-compliant operating conditions.
The new generation of energy controllers has been repeatedly presented and awarded for the high level of innovation of the applied solutions at national and international exhibitions and fairs.
Some of the most important may include:
- Silver medal at the Seoul International Invention Exhibition,
- Gold medal at the 59th World Exhibition of Invention, Research and New Techniques “Brussels Innova 2010” in Brussels,
- Product of the Year” – received at MTL Energetics 2010 in Lublin,
- Polish Product of the Future 2010″ in the category “Product of the Future in the Implementation Phase”
Along with the supplied apparatus, the Tele and Radio Research Institute provides services in the design of laboratory infrastructure and its installation, as well as technical and technological consulting in the use of the results of the conducted research. Thanks to its comprehensive activities in the field of supplies and performed tests, the Institute has become the main supplier of apparatus for testing the properties of blast furnace coke in ArcelorMittal concerns (Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Kazakhstan, England), US Steel (Slovakia, Serbia), the Donbas Industrial Union (Poland, Hungary) and the steel mills and coking plants of Poland and the Czech Republic (Trzciniec, Radlin, Walbrzych, OKK Ostrava).
The goal of the Institute at the exhibition “Coal of Russia and Mining 2011.” Novokuznetsk 2011 is:
- undertaking and expanding export opportunities to the Russian market (acquiring a new market),
- Establishing business contacts in the Kuzbaz coal district (Siberia),
- to learn about trends and opportunities in the presented apparatus, which will allow its further modernization and development (especially in the extensive use of the Internet for its monitoring).
