Printed Circuit Boards and Electronic Assembly Laboratory

Printed Circuit Boards and Electronic Assembly Laboratory

At Lukasiewicz – Tele and Radio Institute, we develop technologies that are the foundation of the digital transformation of the industry. Miniaturization of printed circuit boards (PCBs), new composite materials and precision electronic circuit manufacturing techniques are directions in which we consistently build our competence.

Our Printed Circuitry and Electronic Assembly Laboratory is a unique research and development infrastructure in the country, designed to help industry design and implement cutting-edge electronic solutions.

Our competencies:

We specialize in comprehensive PCB and PCBA technology development, including:

  • Design and manufacture of precision, multilayer and hybrid printed circuits,

  • Planarization and filling of micro-holes in high-density systems,

  • Applying protective layers and surface activation to improve reliability,

  • miniaturization of circuits and reduction of the weight of electronic components,

  • The integration of photonics and microelectronics into a single system,

  • Optimization of assembly and disassembly processes of electronic assemblies.

Thanks to these competencies, we support Polish companies in accessing technology and research and production infrastructure that was previously available only in specialized foreign centers.

Applications:

  • The technologies we develop are used in key economic sectors:

    • Energy – Smart Grid systems, energy efficiency solutions,

    • Medical – diagnostic devices, microsensors and telemedicine solutions,

    • Telecommunications – 5G and 6G networks, IoT technologies and satellite systems,

    • Defense and space industries – advanced control systems and special-purpose electronics.
