We are pleased to announce that our team participated in the prestigious “KIDE” International Invention Fair in Kaohsiung Exhibition Centre, Taiwan, which took place from December 5-7, 2024. This unique event brought together inventors, scientists and entrepreneurs from around the world, providing an excellent opportunity to present innovative projects, make valuable business contacts and exchange knowledge.
During the fair, we presented our flagship project – “Multifunctional Aluminum-based Enclosure for Electronic Devices in a Closed Cycle Economy” (Alu4CED). This project aims to optimize the energy and material efficiency of electronic products, while supporting the recycling and use of recycled aluminum. Thanks to the unique properties of aluminum – thermal, mechanical and electromagnetic – our enclosure provides an alternative to traditional plastic designs, reducing the environmental impact of ICT products.
The first analyses confirm the project’s ecological benefits, which is in line with the European Commission’s Green Deal and global sustainability trends. We are happy to announce that our project has won a Gold Medal and a Special Award, confirming the value and innovation of our solution.
Participation in the fair also enabled us to make many inspiring business contacts. Talks with leading manufacturers of electronic materials, PCBs and components resulted in new prospects for cooperation. Particularly valuable were exchanges with members of the World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA), which opened up new business opportunities in international markets.
An important distinction for our team was the role of Marek Koscielski, who was invited to be part of the jury evaluating the inventions submitted to the fair. His knowledge, experience and commitment were recognized internationally, which further emphasizes the professionalism of our team and the position of the institute in the innovation community.
The trade fair “KIDE” 2024 turned out to be not only a success for us in terms of promoting the Alu4CED project, but also a valuable experience in building international networking and knowledge exchange. We are proud of the results achieved and are convinced that participation in this event will contribute to the further development of our organization and the achievement of ambitious sustainable development goals.
