The Industrial Technology Center of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Tele and Radio Research Institute is a modern research and development center that delivers advanced technological solutions for the industry of the future.

The Center’s activities focus on Industry 4.0 pillars, encompassing conceptual and research work as well as the development of ready-to-implement systems and devices for heavy industry, energy, medicine, and modern electronics.

Key areas of the Center’s activity:

Research Group: Ultrasonic Technologies

  • The group specializes in the development of comprehensive ultrasonic systems used in welding, cutting, cleaning, and material processing. These systems include ultrasonic generators and converters as well as Sonics converters, which support process automation and increase production quality. The solutions developed enable full integration with intelligent production lines, aligning with the Smart Factory concept.

Research Group: Electrothermal Technologies

  • A team of experts in thermal and electrothermal processes conducts research and manufactures devices for electric and electronic heating, including induction, resistance, arc, and microwave heating systems. These solutions are applied in metallurgy, foundry, energy, chemical, and recycling industries. The Center is one of the leading European institutions specializing in this field.

Research Group: Special Technologies

  • The group focuses on the development and implementation of solutions in vacuum technology and electronics. It is a key research unit within the Industrial Technology Center, enabling the implementation of modern electronic systems, research equipment, and industrial automation solutions. The group has extensive experience in implementing advanced technologies and developing ready-to-deploy products in demanding industrial environments.
    Commercialization activities cover all solutions developed within the Industrial Technology Center and include technologies for industrial automation, industrial equipment, ultrasonic, electrothermal, and vacuum systems—ready for integration into modern Industry 4.0 production lines.
