The Power Engineering Automation Center is a specialized research unit whose objective is the development of modern solutions for the power engineering sector. It focuses on the development of technologies that improve the reliability, safety, and efficiency of power systems.
The Center consists of the following specialized research groups:
Research Group: Protection Automation
The team conducts research and development work in the field of protection automation. The main areas of activity include:
- design and development of specialized protection controllers for low- and medium-voltage switchgear,
- development of control and supervision systems for power infrastructure,
- development of solutions supporting energy storage and integration with protection systems.
Research Group: Power Engineering Control and Measurement Equipment
The team focuses on control and measurement equipment and specialized subassemblies for power engineering facilities. As part of its activities, the following are developed:
- modern measuring and control devices,
- equipment and instrumentation components used in power switchgear and substations,
- solutions improving the precision of monitoring and diagnostics of grid infrastructure.
