Energy security and the reliability of energy supply are the foundation of the functioning of the economy, industry, and everyday life. At the Łukasiewicz–Institute of Tele- and Radio-Technology, we support the transformation of the energy sector by delivering technologies, devices, and competencies that increase the resilience and intelligence of critical infrastructure.

We offer the design, development, and production of modern systems and devices for the power engineering sector, including field controllers and station automation, protections and voltage presence indicators, current and voltage transformers, network monitoring and measurement systems, communication modules and integration for Smart Grid solutions, as well as automation of substations and switchgear. Our products operate in demanding industrial conditions, ensuring stability, safety, and the ability to integrate with existing SCADA systems and network management platforms.

As part of our research and development activities, we develop solutions based on the “hardware + software + sensors + applications” model, enabling precise monitoring and diagnostics of infrastructure, automatic response to network parameters, integration of renewable energy sources and energy storage, real-time data analysis, and adaptation of systems to communication standards, including IEC 61850. Our experience enables the implementation of the full project lifecycle — from concept, through design and prototypes, to deployment and certification.
We support operators, integrators, and investors in the construction and modernization of infrastructure that must operate continuously and safely. Our solutions meet high requirements regarding operational continuity, resistance to failures and interference, cybersecurity, control system reliability, electromagnetic compatibility, and power quality. Łukasiewicz–ITR is a partner that combines engineering, research, and production competencies. We provide electronic and software design, prototype and series production, testing, validation and technical documentation, as well as service support and the possibility of further modernization.
