Research work includes, among others: <\/p><ul><li>methods and systems for time synchronization<\/li><li>control systems for renewable energy installations<\/li><li>energy storage systems<\/li><li>energy quality analysis<\/li><li>methods of acquisition, aggregation, and transmission of data from synchrophasors<\/li><li>wired and wireless data transmission<\/li><li>promotion of the IEC 61850 standard<\/li><li>measurement, protection, control, and diagnostic devices<\/li><\/ul><p>Research work conducted at the Institute for several decades is closely tailored to market needs and implemented at major system integrators for the energy sector and distribution network operators, such as: ZPUE, Elektrobudowa, Elektromonta\u017c-Lublin, ABB, Mikronika, Apator, Relpol, Innogy,
